With inspiration from old vintage patches and motor shop name tags, I put the idea of the new co-workers love for motorbikes (shown in the latest short film) and the idea of patchwork into one hat. I thought this would be a unique hat and tie perfectly to the storyline like each piece will do. Making the hat was challenging as I had to get an extremely talented sewer to sew each patch by hand and the corduroy itself was all cut and sew. The mix of a bright orange and a black base makes this pop and the ability to showcase such a crazy design with embroidery is extremely cool to me. 20,000 stitches.
